Ken Markizon
Ken Markizon serves as the President and CEO of Oakmont Commercial. He has been approving small commercial mortgages since 2003. Ken’s passion comes from being able to meet small business owners and investors throughout the country. Ken believes the most important thing he does is help family businesses. Whether a loan saves them thousands a month, or provides working capital to achieve their dreams, Ken loves the opportunity to get them the money they need to be successful.
Mark Barnish
Mark is Vice President of Underwriting at Oakmont. He has a heart for talking with small business owners and helping them to take the best next step in their business or investment pursuits. Mark enjoys treating potential borrowers like they were his own family and coming up with creative solutions that is in their best interest.
Jim DeSimone
Jim is Vice President of Sales. Jim loves working with brokers to structure deals. His favorite day of the month is the day the broker gets paid. That means that a small business owner got their money, and it is a great day for everyone.
Immediately before joining Oakmont Commercial, Jim was Director of Sales at KCMI Capital for six years. Prior to this, Jim spent 18 years as a partner in multiple national broker and lender shops, including Equity One, SBC and S2 Commercial Capital. Jim’s entire career has been in the commercial mortgage arena. On a personal note, Jim is married to his wife of 20 years with 2 wonderful kids.
Ryan Boyle
Ryan is Vice President of Underwriting at Oakmont Commercial. Prior to Oakmont, Ryan spent 10 years as a sales executive at Apex Mortgage and KCMI Capital. Ryan loves working with brokers and he truly becomes their partner, helping them find and structure deals that can be closed. His personal touch and focus on relationships make him a perfect fit for the Oakmont team. Ryan is a graduate of Holy Family University with a degree in marketing management.
Laura Eichwald
Laura is Vice President of Processing Operations at Oakmont. After your loan is approved, Laura will take you through the process all the way to the closing table. Laura understands that the small business owner’s life is complicated and busy. She takes pride in making sure your experience is easy. She gets it. You have a business to run, getting your loan closed cannot become your full time job. She’s been closing small commercial loans for 15 years.
Drew Culkin
Drew Culkin is a loan officer and broker relationship manager. He spent the last 10 years as an account executive working for APEX Commercial Capital. He’s closed hundreds of small balance commercial loans while helping brokers, investors, and property owners along the way. His personal hobbies include, surfing, and loud rock music.
